Fairmont Chateau Whistler Celebrates Two MICHELIN Key Accolade
WHISTLER, BC, September 12, 2024 – Fairmont Chateau Whistler is thrilled to announce that it has been recognized with two MICHELIN Keys in MICHELIN Guide’s first-ever full key selection across the USA, Canada and Mexico. The resort joins an exclusive group of 33 Canadian properties to receive a prestigious key honour, which includes the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise resorts in Canada’s Western Mountain Region.
The MICHELIN Guide, celebrated for its distinguished restaurant rankings, has now extended its expertise to luxury hotels with its new MICHELIN Key rating system. Inspectors perform independent, anonymous evaluations of over 5,000 hotels worldwide, assessing aspects such as architecture, quality of service, character, value, and overall guest experience. Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s Two Key award emphasizes its distinctive design, strong sense of place, and attentive service that promises guests a stay rich with unique and memorable experiences.
