Move for Wishes launches for the first time in September 2026 and will see Fairmont Chateau Whistler joining over 90 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts worldwide with a full array of fundraising classes and experiences in tandem with the brand’s newly launched wellbeing vision Wellness Without Walls, which encourages visitors to exercise at their own pace and move their bodies in a way that both inspires and motivates during their travels. Designed as a celebratory event, this experience brings together exercise, recovery, and connection to unite the community in a powerful effort to support, reflect, and raise funds in the month of September for this extraordinary cause.
Fairmont’s Move for Wishes campaign is a continuation of the ‘Wishes Start Here’ initiative, a global partnership between Fairmont and Make-A-Wish, which made its debut in 2022. The legacy of the partnership extends much longer, however, with over 20 years of bringing hope, strength, and joy to children around the world by granting wishes together. Guests across every Fairmont address are invited to Move for Wishes as every class and experience contributes to Make-A-Wish, helping grant transformative wishes for children with critical illnesses, and bringing hope, strength, and joy to families around the world. Similarly, guests who are part of ALL Accor, a booking platform and loyalty program have the option to donate their loyalty points to Make-A-Wish as part of a year-round fundraising incentive.
