Mountain Introductions

Skiing | Charlift | Image: Tourism Whistler, Justa Jeskova

Join one of our hotel ambassadors for an unforgettable introduction to the best skiing and riding at Whistler Blackcomb. Intermediate skiers will be directed to less congested runs from the top, longer laps, and breathtaking views. For advanced skiers, it’s like a backstage pass to hidden powder stashes, fabulous tree skiing, and backcountry adventures. Mountain excursions are weather and snow-dependent, and all skiers/riders must be at an intermediate level or above to participate. *Tour does not include lift passes.

Cultural Tours

Rain, snow, or shine, there is always plenty to explore in Whistler. Learn something new at these incredible Whistler attractions! A variety of 1-hour cultural tours are offered including the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, the Whistler Museum, and the Audain Art Museum. Families welcome.

Whistler Experience Guide Dog

Whistler Experience Guide Dog | Alta

Alta is a black Labrador, and arguably the most popular team member of Fairmont Chateau Whistler! Her days are spent exploring scenic trails with our Whistler Experience Guides and adventure-seeking guests. Alta was trained by Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, and is proudly owned by Executive Chef Isabel Chung.

Outdoor Adventures

It doesn’t get more Canadian than that!
