Enjoy an array of excursions in every season and go off the tourist track to discover the true essence of Whistler. Let our expert guides be your hosts for the very best year-round mountain adventures. Some activities require you to purchase a lift ticket or ticket for entry.

All Whistler Experience Guide activities are included in your Resort Experience Fee.

Pre-registration is required for all activities and becomes available to book two weeks in advance of the outing.

Adventure awaits at every corner of the year. Join our Whistler Experience Guides on adventures year-round.

Overlooking the summer village

Join one of our Whistler Experience Guides as they take you through the North Village, the Village Centre and back to the Upper Village. This guided walking tour will include multiple stops from the Olympic Plaza to the Mountain Square and everything in between. You will also learn the History behind Whistler and how it has expanded into what it is now. Please wear appropriate footwear.

See authentically crafted beers in the making and enjoy a tasting of award winning ales and lagers. Meet in front of the Frontenac Ballroom located on the conference level. Beer Flights $12. Join one of our Whistler Experience Guides for a relaxing and laid back casual hike along the Valley Trail. Hike along creeks and across forest beds on this intertwined trail. Please wear appropriate foot wear. We recommend you bring water with you.

Come join our in-house yoga instructors and take part in a mind and body opening experience. Did you know that morning yoga is an excellent warm up before heading out for the day? It is also the perfect opportunity to aid muscle recovery and prevent stiffness afterwards. Leave the class smiling, energized, and rebalanced. All levels are welcome and all equipment is provided. For best results, arrive with an empty stomach.

Winter Excursions

Witness the captivating change of colors that blanket our natural paradise. It’s time to embark on unforgettable adventures with our Whistler Experience Guides, guiding you through the mesmerizing beauty of winter.

Get away from it all with a guided snow shoe tour around Lost Lake. Trek along our coastal rainforest to get unique viewpoints of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Meet in front of the Frontenac Ballroom located on the conference level. Moderate fitness level required. Remember to stay hydrated and wear appropriate footwear.

Trail passes are $11.50, and payable upon arrival at PassivHaus. Snowshoes will be provided.

Experience the thrill of snow sliding with no need for specialized gear or training on over 1,000 feet of slopes. Complete with multiple lanes and a convenient conveyor lift for an easy return to the summit.

Try your hand at water sports during your Whistler vacation and join us for a morning of tranquility on beautiful Green Lake. You will have the opportunity to explore this peaceful lake and take in the pristine mountain views on a stand up paddle board. Bring your swimsuit along as there is nothing more refreshing than an early morning dip to start your day.

Meet in front of the Frontenac Ballroom located on the conference level. We will provide CCGA Life Vests, but please ensure you are comfortable being in water. All individuals 5 years of age or older are welcome, however, anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Fall Excursions

Sweater weather and changing colours mean more opportunities to explore our natural paradise. Join our Whistler Experience Guides on adventures throughout the fall.

Enjoy a casual hike along the glacier-fed Cheakamus River to the remains of a train derailment from the 1950’s. At the wreck, there are 5 train cars scattered along the forest floor with massive Coastal evergreen trees that have grown around them. Some local artists have decorated the cars with amazing graffiti work. Great for a family hike. Moderate fitness level required. Please wear appropriate footwear. We recommend you bring water with you.

This 2.7km trail on Whistler Mountain offers stunning mountain views, and the chance to hike around the alpine waters of Harmony Lake. Please note: Lift tickets are required and are available for purchase at the Concierge desk or Whistler Blackcomb guest relations. Adults $85.00, Youth and Senior $76.00, Kids $43.00 and children under 6 are free.
