Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees. At this time, Fairmont Chateau Whistler remains open and is closely following the advice from BC’s Ministry of Health, which includes strongly recommending that travel in and out of the Vancouver Coastal Health region be limited to essential travel only until February 5, 2021.
For over 30 years we’ve provided shelter and have been a home-away-from-home for guests and employees alike, and as long as we feel we can do that safely we will continue to do so. Masks are required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces in British Columbia. This includes retail stores, restaurants and common areas in hotels (including lobby, meeting foyers, hallways, and elevators). Learn more here.

In light of our updated safety procedures and protocols, check-in and check-out times have been adjusted. Please note that check-in is now available from 5:00 pm onwards, and check-out is now at 10:00 am.
health club protocols
The health club and fitness centre is open daily from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm for hotel guests. Pool capacity restrictions are now in place and reservations are required for all hotel guests wishing to use the pool facility. Whistler Blackcomb is now open for winter operations with enhanced safety protocols in place. Guests are required to wear face coverings to access the mountains and a new reservation system has been implemented to manage capacity limits. COLLEAGUE TRAINING & SAFETY
In addition to increased training on safety protocols, all colleagues participate in mandatory, daily health screenings which include temperature checks upon entrance to the resort. It’s important to us that both our guests and our colleagues are safe and well.
