She brings with her 12 years of experience with the Fairmont, including three years in Banquets, two years as an IRD Supervisor, two years as Personal Assistant to the Food & Beverage Director, two years as Wedding Services Manager and three years as Conference Services Manager. She has worked at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Fairmont Waterfront and The Savoy. Her passions include skiing, biking, running, travel, and spending time with family and friends. Shona is currently on maternity leave.

Since then, Lindsay has worked as a coordinator at the London Hilton on Park Lane, and she later moved back to Vancouver to work as a Conference Services Manager at the Westin Bayshore Hotel for 7 years. In 2021, Lindsay moved up to Whistler and joined the team as Assistant Director of Catering & Conference Services. Completing her Diploma in Marketing Management in Tourism at BCIT, Lindsay has always had a passion for creating memorable experiences for her clients. When not at work, Lindsay enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, running, paddle boarding, travel, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Executive Chefisabel.chung@Fairmont.com 604 938 2004Chef Isabel Chung began her culinary career in 2001 at the Delta Bow Valley, Calgary, Alberta, holding the roles of Second Cook and First Cook. Expanding her experience internationally, she transferred to the Fairmont Southampton in 2005 as Senior Chef de Partie and then was quickly promoted to Sous Chef. In 2008, Chef Isabel returned to Canada as Sous Chef at Fairmont Chateau Whistler where she was in charge of Banquets and subsequently Restaurants. In 2013, she relocated to the United States as Executive Sous Chef of the AAA Five Diamond Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle. In her current role as Executive Chef at Fairmont Chateau Whistler since November 15, 2015, Chef Isabel oversees the creative and strategic initiatives of all culinary operations of the 539-room luxury landmark resort including The Grill Room, Whistler’s only AAA/CAA Four Diamond rated hotel restaurant; The Wildflower Restaurant; the award-winning Mallard Lounge; Portobello Market & Fresh Bakery; The Chalet, offering alpine cuisine and fondue dining throughout the winter season; and The Clubhouse at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club; as well as In Room Dining and Banquets. Isabel studied Culinary Arts at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta. She also studied Commerce at Athabasca University in Calgary, Alberta.

Fast forward 20 years to Jason graduating with a diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Loyalist College of Applied Arts & Technology. Jason continued his studies at George Brown College of Applied Arts & Technology Culinary Arts earning a diploma in Culinary Management. In Jason’s 18 years with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts he has successfully worked with chefs from around the world in various roles at Fairmont Properties throughout Canada, the United States of America, Egypt and Dubai.

Tarun’s passion and creativity elevates each and every event – whether a small executive meeting, a corporate breakfast, or a gala dinner for hundreds of delegates. Tarun is constantly seeking ways to enhance the Banquets experience and create memorable moments for guests. Born and raised in India, Tarun began his banquets and hospitality career over 16 years ago in New Delhi. His passion for hospitality has taken him internationally to the United Kingdom and back to India before settling in Canada in 2015. Between events, he can often be found taking advantage of Whistler’s incredible hiking trails with his family or catching up on the latest Cricket news.
Senior Conference Services Managerwendy.clark@Fairmont.com 604 938 2029With over 10 years’ experience as a Conference Service Manager, Wendy started her hotel career at the Four Seasons in Vancouver working on both the Reservations and Front Desk teams. After moving to Whistler in 2001, Wendy started working at Fairmont Chateau Whistler at the front desk before transitioning into the Conference Services department in the Coordinator position. Whether skiing, mountain biking, hiking or paddle boarding, BC-native Wendy loves to enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle. She also loves adventuring in new and unique destinations world-wide with her husband and son.

While travelling abroad she worked operations in a variety of restaurants and bars. When she lived in the UK, Hilary managed many restaurants including Hush and Otto in central London. After moving back to Canada Hilary managed a fast paced, modern Pan Asian Grill in Vancouver. Hilary moved to Whistler with her husband and son, and became Conference Services Manger at the Hilton. After working in both conference services and sales with the Hilton for 7 years, she joined the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in September 2017. Hilary enjoys hiking, and spending time outdoors with her family. She also enjoys all things culinary and wine!
Conference Services ManagerAlicia.Bhimji2@Fairmont.com 604 938 2080Alicia Bhimji has worked with various Fairmont hotels since 2013, with the most recent being Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda. Originally from B.C., she wanted to return home yet also work at a resort property, which is how she ended up in Whistler. Prior to being a Conference Services Manager, she was on the Sales team, giving her a good understanding of the full cycle of a program. Travelling is her passion, and Alicia has been to over 55 countries so far, with many more future travel plans. When not at work, Alicia can either be found at the local swimming pool doing laps or curled up in front of the fire reading a book.
Conference Services ManagerLauren.MacColl@Fairmont.comRaised in beautiful British Columbia, Lauren attended the University of the Fraser Valley where she focused on Hospitality and Event Planning. She knew she belonged in this industry, early on. After Lauren complete her internship with the Pan Pacific Whistler in 2015, she joined the Fairmont Chateau Whistler team as a Reservations Agent, where she was soon after promoted to the Group Reservations Coordinator, overseeing all of the rooming requirements for the resort’s conferences and group. In 2017, Lauren made the transition into the Sales department as a Regional Sales Coordinator, supporting Fairmont Canada’s Western Mountain Region. Lauren made the big move to Hawaii in 2019 joining Four Seasons Resort Hualalai as a Weddings & Special Events Manager. In this role, she found her true roots as an event planner. After a few years of wedding planning in paradise, the mountains were calling again in 2o21 when the opportunity for Lauren to join the team back at Fairmont Chateau Whistler within the Conference Services team arose. Extremely passionate about food and beverage, when Lauren is not dreaming up events, she is usually found in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes or planning her next adventure.

Alexandra started her hotel career at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in the Housekeeping department. She later moved to the Front Office, and worked in numerous management positions within that department. In 2021, Alexandra joined the Conference Services team as Conference Services Office Manager. Completing a diploma in Business and Hospitality, Alexandra is passionate about creating lasting memories and connections through events. When not working, Alexandra enjoys being on the mountain, whether that means skiing or hiking, as well as spending time with friends and family.
