National Cocktail Day – Signature Baklava Sour Recipe

Inspired by the exotic flavours of Baklava, this twist on a classic Gin Sour will have your taste buds dancing with delight.

The botanicals of the house-infused gin, combined with locally made amaretto and citrus, is complemented with the tantalizing floral notes of orange blossom water.

The best way to enjoy this beauty is slope-side at the Mallard Lounge, but if you can’t be here now, you can create this cocktail to savour the taste of Whistler from home.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Beefeater, (house infused with Citrus Peels and Cardamom)
  • 1 oz Sons of Vancouver No. 82 Amaretto
  • 0.5 Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 Simple Syrup
  • 2 drops Orange Blossom Water
  • .75 oz egg white

Instructions

Build and dry shake. Add ice and wet shake. Strain into coupe. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon chip.
